Oh, I'm sure they're not pointing and laughing.^^

After early trauma I never learned to swim properly but I enjoyed paddling about in the ocean as kid. As an adult, I never touch the stuff.

Briefly, one summer. Didn't take and there was some ear difficulty or something. Also, you know how cold the summers are here! I'm reasonably certain he can't swim.

I liked playing in the ocean as a kid, when we went to visit my grandmother in Atlantic City, but I don't enjoy swimming itself, or pools, or, if it comes to that, being out in the sun.

I was sent to swimming lessons when I was around five. I was too short for the shallow end, but my mom made me go. I was full of despair, since I spent the classes trying not to drown. Luckily, I learned I could spend the class clutching to the young lady in a bikini who was the instructor. I learned to float, and to "steamboat," which was lying face down and kicking your legs. I also learned to appreciate ladies in bikinis. ^^

When I was 9, my dad moved into an apartment with a HUGE pool. I spent the next three years in that pool, and became a fish.

I'm not a speedy swimmer, but I'm very comfortable in the water, thanks to that pool. I love to swim underwater.

Regarding natural bodies of water: the ocean and rivers in my part of the world are too dangerous for swimmers. Around the age of ten, I went swimming in the Pacific and my swimsuit was nearly ripped off by the currents. It wasn't until I was an adult and went to Mexico that I enjoyed swimming in the ocean. The best swimming of all was in the Sea of Cortez. Amazing!

In the last one, I clicked none, but I just don't want to be seen in a bathing suit.

I'm rather disappointed that no one was taught by Flipper or a cute lifeguard. Damn Hollywood for always deceiving me!

We actually had swimming in highschool as a sport/PE subject. I could swim the width of an olympic size pool once, but usually had to be rescued once I got towards the deep end lengthwise. I suck at floating hence the drowning answer.
