Second only to the handy crossposting thingy.

Up in the little search "Go" box at the top, the default field to search is "Interest" rather than "Username". Because if I friggin' knew the username I wouldn't be searching! With LJ I always forget to switch over to "Interest" and have to search twice.

So. Huzzah for that.

I hate that, in fact.^^ I never look for interests but do want to see whether friends from LJ had turned up over here, so I have to change it every time. Fortunately my use of that box will stop eventually.

I search interests often to find communities, sometimes to join but usually just to see what a new fandom is like, or to catch up on something I'm interested in, but don't want to add to my flist.

I usally just loot the flists of friends to find other old friends. ^ ^

I hadn't noticed.... I barely use the search function in any of my 3 journals and I don't actually crosspost this journal to anywhere else except for fic... and then it only let's me do one and I'm too anal not to have three tabs open at the same time across the journals anyway... I know I'm a bit useless that way.

You can only crosspost to one place? I've only tried one but I was under the assumption I could crosspost to multiples.

Or did you mean something else?

Yup, in my posting page there's only one other place I can crosspost to, but I'm on the free account so I figured that it's got to be a limitation or something like that. (Not that I've used it, yet...)
